Thierry Barbè can safely be regarded as one of the greatest living bass players. As I have said and reiterated several times Mr.Thierry Barbè is for me "A poet with a doublebass". In this fantastic CD / DVD we can all once again appreciate his excellent technique that expands towards all possible directions of the art of interpretation. The phrasing of Barbè is once again intense and fluid together with an arch technique of absolute importance. Her of his doublebass emerges fluid line, well it focused every point of view. I really believe that this cd / dvd will be a milestone in the history of our instrument and I highly recommend everyone to buy it in order to enjoy and rejoice in a thousand visual and tactile sensations that Thierry Barbè can draw from his playing extremely well and nothing short of divine.
